Young Women in Leadership Award 2026
The Zonta Club of Columbia announces the opening of its scholarship opportunity known as Young Women in Leadership (YWL). This monetary award recognizes young women, ages 16-19, for demonstrating leadership skills and commitment to public service around civic causes. Potential candidates are from the Midlands area (to include Orangeburg and Bamberg). The best candidates are those who:
- Are actively committed to volunteerism
- Have experience in local government, student government, or workplace leadership (paid or unpaid).
- Have volunteer leadership achievements
- Have knowledge of Zonta International and its programs.

Zonta Women in Business Leadership Award 2025
The Zonta Women in Business Leadership Award acknowledges and celebrates women who demonstrate exceptional leadership, entrepreneurial spirit, ethical conduct and make significant contributions to their respective industries while addressing global or local issues affecting women and girls or climate justice.
The deadline for the application is September 1, 2025. We will do telephone/Zoom interviews with the applicants.
